Attorney

Chris D. Sarris joined Steven B. Pearlman & Associates in 2012. He was previously the head associate attorney at another reputable Chicago property tax law firm where he gained extensive real estate tax experience representing hundreds of commercial, industrial, and residential clients in Cook and its surrounding counties. Chris has successfully reduced his client’s assessments through strategic negotiations or by prevailing at hearings before the Boards of Review, the Property Tax Appeal Board and the Circuit Court.

After his admission to the Illinois bar in 2007, Chris began his legal career as a civil litigation attorney. His years of work in complex litigation involved representing clients in over 150 mandatory arbitrations and numerous jury trials. This experience has afforded Chris the confidence and ability to effectively and knowledgably represent his clients through the entire hearing process at all levels of appeal.

Chris earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola University Chicago in 2001 and went on to receive his JD from John Marshall Law School in 2006. At John Marshall, Chris was the President of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Fraternity (Stevens Inn).
