Anne Reed joined the firm in 2012 after retiring from print journalism. She handles numerous oral arguments annually at the Board of Review, and she specializes in writing detailed narrative briefs for the firm’s complex “Letter” properties such as the sports arenas, racecourses and casinos, often successfully developing novel legal arguments in the process of advocating for an equitable assessment.

In addition to handling appeals at the Assessor, Board of Review, Circuit Court and PTAB, Anne has built up an extensive incentive practice, obtaining Class C, L, 6b, 7b, 7c and 8 incentives for a diverse group of clientele. She also has experience working on Class 9 incentive renewals for low-income properties.

Anne is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the LGBT Bar Association.
