Alicia D. Haro joined Steven B. Pearlman & Associates in 2018. She specializes in Collar County appeals, where she works closely with local township assessors in DuPage, Lake, and Kane counties, among others, to effectively reduce client’s assessments. In addition to her non-Cook County work, she handles a high volume of Cook County Specific Objection case settlements, cases she has continued settling throughout the pandemic. Since the Circuit Court closed in March due to COVID-19, Alicia has learned and adapted to the new protocols, obtaining substantial refunds for our clients in 2020 alone—all from a safe social distance.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Alicia worked as a paralegal at other Chicago property tax law firms where she gained knowledge in the field of ad valorem taxation. Alicia is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.
